About Beautiful Minds Institute (BMI)

Beautiful Minds Institute (BMI) has been established by Shalini Roberts, a dynamic, dedicated professional and an experienced accomplished academician to enable school going children to enjoy studying as much as they do enjoy playing and whose belief is that children learn best in a calm and stress-free environment, in a small-group setting, where they feel supported both by the tutor and the knowledge that they are not alone in their learning process.

BMI is the platform where kids feel the freedom to learn, perform and excel. Our teaching method guarantees more confidence and motivation for your child, in any of these areas be it, Writing, Reading, Spelling, Handwriting, Mathematics, Science, French & Sanskrit.

Many parents ask why we teach in small groups, and whether it is as effective as one-to-one tuition. Our answer is always the same – experience and the experts agree, small group tuition works better than one-to-one – and here are some of the reasons:

A small group tutoring environment fosters and develops independent work habits and thinking skills. In the group, the tutor explains a concept to the child, gives an example, and then lets the child do some work on their own. Children learn best by doing, not just by listening to the tutor do the work for them.
Children coming for group tutoring quickly make friends with other children in their group, even if they don’t know them from school already. They realize quickly that they are not alone in needing a bit of extra help. The feelings of resentment they may feel will lessen. They come to enjoy the sessions and look forward to coming every day of the week.
At our Centre, in the small group, we have unlimited scope to vary the session, even changing the topic part way through the session if necessary. In essence, sessions at BMI are fun, flexible and effective.
